SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER- Carrickmacross-

The Role-

  • Efficient management of building sites.

  • Adhere to workplace Health and Safety requirements, while maximising productivity.

  • Managing Design Teams and construction teams for construction and planning projects.

  • Review information and prepare responses to local authorities, fire officers, solicitors, report & letter writing critical to role.

  • Be able to create edit and compile PDF reports.

  • Excellent level of excel skills.

  • Work closely with supply chain and subcontractors to maintain positive relationships.

  • Prepare construction costing information for submission to accountant each week.

  • Address fire safety issues within buildings and co coordinate fire safety works.

  • Any other senior project management duties as necessary for construction & development company.

The successful candidate should have the following-

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Strong planning and organising skills.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Results-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards.

  • Demonstrates decisiveness and good judgement, with effective problem solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

  • Possess proficient IT application skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Sound understanding of relevant regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

  • Must possess a full driving license.

SKILLED/ GENERAL LABOURERS- Portarlington-

The Role-

  • Dunkeel Ltd are looking for General/Skilled Labourers to work on a construction site of 71 houses in Portarlington, Co Laois.

The successful candidate should have the following-

  • Valid Manual Handling Certificate

  • Valid Safe Pass

  • Additional tickets and qualifications are desirable, but not essential

  • Experience working on large scale projects

Job Type: Full-time.
